Encinitas Community Resource Center
The Community Resource Center works to end hunger, homelessness and domestic violence in North County San Diego. As a provider of integrative services, CRC’s programs include a domestic violence emergency shelter, hotline and prevention/education outreach, a Therapeutic Children’s Center, professional counseling, legal advocacy, food, and nutrition distribution center, homelessness prevention and rental and housing assistance.
All of CRC’s programs are designed to assist participants to successfully navigate their paths of safety, stability & self-sufficiency.
We are proud to partner with this amazing organization by offering any member, volunteer or employee of the CRC a free vehicle inspection.
In addition, we are an official toy collection center for CRC Holiday Baskets.
Sock It To ‘Em
Did you know that socks are the #1 clothing need of the homeless? The Sock-it-to-‘em Sock Campaign (SITE) aims to cover the feet of as many of those in need as possible before each new year. Their motto is, “We’re taking socks to the streets!” Anyone in any location can participate by donating socks, becoming a Sock Ambassador or just sharing information about The Sock It To Em Sock Campaign on social media or through email.
As of November 2019, SITE has collected over 600,000 socks!
Since 2012, Brad’s has been a proud partner of Sock It To ‘Em. We are an official sock ambassador, meaning we collect socks to distribute to local organizations in need.
